    About

Jervis Bay, located within the Shoalhaven region on the South Coast of New South Wales, is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and pristine white-sand beaches. The region is famous for having some of the whitest sands in the world, particularly at Hyams Beach, which draws visitors from around the globe. Jervis Bay is also a haven for marine life, with its protected waters home to dolphins, seals, and migrating whales, making it a popular spot for wildlife tours and water-based activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, and scuba diving.

Jervis Bay is also unique in its governance; although geographically part of New South Wales, a portion of the bay and its surrounding land is a territory of the Commonwealth of Australia, known as the Jervis Bay Territory. This area includes Booderee National Park, which is co-managed by the local Indigenous community and offers stunning natural landscapes, walking trails, and cultural experiences. With its blend of natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant wildlife, Jervis Bay is a true gem of the Shoalhaven region.
